SUSTAINABILITY AT LUCKY BEACH CAFE BRIGHTON
Lucky Beach Cafe is rated in the top 20 sustainable businesses in the UK. We buy local, organic food where practical & follow the guidelines of the UK Sustainable Restaurant Association & hold their highest rating. It’s not just about sourcing & the SRA oversee our total environmental impact, how we manage waste & energy, how we partner with our suppliers & our community & how we look after our teams.
In 2017 + 2018 we were rated the No.1 Sustainable Restaurant in the UK, in 2019 we were awarded for our ‘commitment to farmers’ & for One Planet Plate & meat reduction.
We support communities in Rwanda where we build infrastructure for our farmers & their families who supply our coffee. Find out more about the school we built right here. In Brighton we support Team Domenica, a charity which helps people with learning disabilities discover their career potential.
