ABOUT

So, day trip to Brighton?

Kind of a summer thing.. or maybe thats what the locals WANT you to think.

Open year-round, Lucky Beach Cafe serves up some of the best food in Brighton. Local, sustainable and mostly organic food and drink right in the middle of Brighton beach.

Inside our fishermans arch the beach cafe is fully weatherproofed should everything turn a little bit best-of-British.  And on the beach itself we have 100 seats which are shaded (and heated) should the need arise.

We take our coffee pretty seriously.  Just up the road we run Brightons largest roastery.

Throughout the year we host a number of events on the beach. Recently these have featured some of the UK's best known Michelin star chefs and TV favourites.

Our next event is being held in May with the talented Mr Matt Gillan, winner of the BBCs Great British Menu 2015.   Tickets for the event will be available through our Facebook site.

At LUCKY BEACH we serve up local, sustainable food and drink on the beach and in our fishermans arch.  Most of the food  is organic, local and sustainably managed.

We use native breed organic Sussex beef for the hamburgers which is grass-fed

and dry-aged.  The fish is landed locally here in Brighton and delivered each morning so occasionally we might change the menu depending on availability. Chicken and pork is all local and free-range .

Award-winning sustainable food and

drink served by nice people in

the middle of Brighton

beach, since 2013.

For coffee we use our own organic accredited roastery which is here in Brighton. The beans we source are from farmers in different countries, are all better-than-fairtrade and we use local organic milk from

Goodwood Farm.

Our famous eggs are local and organic and are from Colombian Blacktails, Lohman Browns and Goldlines and graze on grass and forage outside.  The sourdough is all made by Tony and the edible flowers are grown by Ben.
